The Impact at Place of Refuge

Since 2009, Place of Refuge has provided safe, supportive, and affordable long-term housing for men in British Columbia. We believe that true healing and lasting change happen in a community, and our program, which can be up to three years, is designed to give residents the time and support they need to rebuild their lives. Through a holistic and collaborative approach that includes financial literacy, life skills training, and ongoing therapeutic support, we've helped over 300 men reestablish their confidence and prepare for a brighter future. Our commitment to creating a healthy and supportive environment has been a cornerstone of our success, helping our residents not only embrace their hopes and dreams but also put them into action.
